L'esprit de l'escalier: answering a friend's concerns

I am not "damned to hell," as you say,
"For not knowing Truth when I see it."
I know not truth to be one thing;
Any truth holds value as long as
appearances bear it so for one,
And every value holds a lesson.

If truth be defined only in limited terms
Why not define it to help us - self and all?
So go out to witch masses and satanic cults,
My friend, if only to learn what not to do.
